Pacífico is a story of travel inspired by the sea and sky.

"After the release of Hot Club de Pai's last record, Éclaircie, I spent much of my time surrounded by bodies of water - the frigid North Atlantic surrounding the Faroe Islands, the jewel-colored Caribbean bordering Mexico and Colombia, the peaceful, village-lined Danube river and the mighty Pacific off the coast of Peru and Ecuador. The never-ending intrigue of the sheer vastness of both the water and the stars above electrified me and these songs are the result. I hope the listener can simply close their eyes and enjoy an acoustic voyage from the celestial to the terrestrial world." - Jason Shooster
